STAGECOACH NAMES MR. MARVIN HARVEY DIRECTOR EMERITUS
Randolph, Vermont — Paul Kendall, Board Chair of Stagecoach Transportation Services, Inc., announced today that Mr. Marvin C. Harvey, will be appointed as Director Emeritus, effective May 8, 2017, in honor of his years of distinguished service to Stagecoach.
Stagecoach is proud of its past directors and bestows the honor of Director Emeritus based upon devoted service above and beyond the call of duty. Marvin was born in Rochester and has lived there his entire life. He was raised on a hill farm in North Hollow in a large family. He began working on the farm after high school and got involved on boards of farm-related agencies as well as trade organizations related to construction. Over the years, he has worked with many different agencies to receive grant monies and construct or reconstruct infrastructure.
Retired now from his construction business, he contributes on state, county, town, and church boards. He recently retired as a Rochester Selectboard Member after 15 years.
Marvin was involved with Faith, Hope, and Charity when Stagecoach was conceived in 1976 and has stayed involved with the Board of Directors ever since.

Our Board of Directors is proud to honor Mr. Harvey as the first Director Emeritus of Stagecoach and Tri-Valley Transit”, said Paul Kendall, Board Chair. “He has, for over forty years, continued to adapt to changing environments, innovate beyond contemporary modes of thinking, and push beyond the boundaries of what is and toward what could be to promote excellence in achievement at all levels of our organization”.
