Google Trip Planner Launches
Stagecoach Launches Google Transit Trip Planner
Stagecoach Transportation Services, Inc. has launched its Google Transit Trip Planner in collaboration with the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans).
The Google Transit Trip Planner is designed to allow transit users an easy way to get public transportation directions from one location to another. The trip planning application itself is easy to use; simply enter where you are, where you want to go, and when you want to be there. Trip planner then integrates route and schedule information to make trip planning quick and easy. The application not only displays Stagecoach route schedules, but it provides information about how to connect from Stagecoach to other transit services to travel beyond our service area. Access the new trip planning application on our home page and on each bus route detail page.
“ VTrans is supporting this Statewide Project as part of our continued commitment to provide affordable and convenient transportation options within Vermont and our neighboring regions,” states Ross MacDonald, VTrans’ Go! Vermont Program Manager. “Ultimately, we are seeking to provide Vermonters with accurate information about transportation options across all modes, including bus routes, carpools, vanpools, and even demand-response services.”
For riders who need help navigating the application or who have questions, the dispatchers at the Stagecoach Office are available to assist Monday-Friday between 8am and 4pm.
